Possibly one of the spookier ruins in Algonquin is the Radiant Lake Loggers Graveyard. This small patch of land located east of the south shore campsite on Radiant Lake is home to between one and two dozen loggers, brought to their death while performing one of the most dangerous jobs known to man kind - log driving down the Petewawa River. It used to be marked by a carved staff but a windstorm has knocked it over and the plaque that was once on the staff has been moved to the face of a rock out on the beach. Shovels, shoes and other artifacts can be found in this area.
