Who was Ald Charron? No one can say for sure, but some speculate he was the keeper of the logging dam near this section of the Nipissing River. Though this cave isn't particularly massive, it has enough space for one or two desperate souls seeking to get out of the violent weather. Mr. Charron decorated the interior of this cave with three carvings: His name, a native man's head with headdress & a woman to, I presume, get him through those cold lonely nights in the wild.
